Gapped Summary
Hier finden Sie eine Aufgabenstellung des an Fachoberschulen und Berufsoberschulen üblichen Formats „Gapped Summary“. Zu einem Basistext (in diesem Falle ein Zeitungsartikel) wird Schülern eine inhaltliche Zusammenfassung des Textes vorgelegt.
Die Lücken dieser Zusammenfassung müssen mit Vokabular aus dem Basistext gefüllt werden. Dabei ist darauf zu achten, dass die Wörter beim Einfügen in keiner Weise verändert werden dürfen.

I feel I have to write to you at once and tell you about our family reunion last week.
What a shame you couldn’t make it! I must say, on the whole it wasn't bad at all. It was good fun, the food was delicious, the accommodation nice enough. All was well, if only our digital needs had been fulfilled better. I mean, these days it is absolutely vital to be able to__________________up a Web address now and again and to do this you just have to get on. I really couldn’t understand why our host seemed so unnerved when one of the guests asked him to ________________________out a document, which he wanted to have __________________ home. But it is fair to say that his mood improved noticeably when digital photos were ______________________which he was asked to _______________________to his computer.
